Did you know most store-bought olive oils are 2–3 years old and made from mixed olives from multiple countries? True quality comes from pressing olives within a couple of days of harvest!
Our 150 olive trees in Lesvos, Greece, were planted by our grandparents and passed down to us. With hard work, we've been making our own olive oil for as long as I can remember and only after tasting store-bought oil did I realize its true value. Pure olive oil is rare, but if given the choice, I’d make my own every single time.
We care for our trees like family—pruning and mulching with compost every spring, and never using chemicals. Our oil is always unfiltered, straight from the olive mill.
Please remember, olive trees only produce olives once a year or every two years. Our olive oil stays fresh for over two years at room temperature, away from sunlight, just like in the tin can we provide. Plan ahead to avoid buying store-bought oil again!
